Printed both my bachelor and master thesis. Both were amazing in itself. The super deal with hardcover is good choice in it self if you want to save some money and still have some kind of quality. The delivery time is top notch (two to three work days). The premium hardcover lets you choose different colors and also add few other gimmicks, that are not necessary but they do look good and the quality is (in my opinion) amazing. If I have anything else to print, I will do it here. Thanks for the amazing customer service as well and the nice letter I have received!

At BachelorPrint, we use 27 lb premium paper as standard for printing and set the same price for color – and black/white printing.

The table below shows different book thicknesses for leather book binding listed by paper grade. The number of pages is based on 27 lb (premium-standard) and 32 lb paper weight standards. It should be noted that we recommend 32 lb paper for double-sided printing. It is possible to print up to 470 sides with the 32 lb paper and up to 500 sides with the 27 lb paper. Head over to the print shop, upload your thesis, and use the 3D configurator to see what it will look like once printed.
- 20–70 pages with 27 lb. 21–55 pages with 32 lb = book thickness 10 mm
- 70–120 pages with 27 lb. 56–105 pages with 32 lb = book thickness 13 mm
- 121–170 pages with 27 lb. 106–155 pages with 32 lb = book thickness 19 mm
- 171–250 pages with 27 lb. 156–235 pages with 32 lb = book thickness 25 mm
There are two different types of leather book binding: one is standard leather binding, which has a shiny and smooth surface, and the other is premium leather binding, which has a soft and textured faux leather look. Both of these bindings can be embossed with the title of your thesis, Ph.D., or dissertation. This is called leather binding embossing.

Leather book binding consists of two cardboard sheets for the front and back covers and a cardboard strip for the spine. The cardboard elements are then covered with leather binding. The material differs from premium to standard leather binding.
The pages are glued together along with two stable end pages, and then glued to the leather binding. You can configure your thesis in the online print shop to fit your personal preferences.
