BachelorPrint produces the coil binding in three steps.
- In a chosen color, all pages of your paper will be punched. Different coil binding options (metal or plastic) need different holes.
- The punched pages will be surrounded by the pages on the front and back.
- The coil is put in the holes and sealed. Within 24–72 hours, this process can be completed once an order is put through the online print shop.
Coil binding is a popular choice for smaller academic papers due to its simplicity. Other bindings are more suitable for more important papers. You can try different bindings for your academic paper online by using the 3D configurator.

The coil binding for your paper is available from $10.90 and is our cheapest option. The price of your paper depends on how many pages it has and if you want extra gadgets in the binding.

The coil binding is offered in seven different sizes, based on the number of pages. The spiral diameters’ range varies from 6 mm to 22 mm. The maximum number of pages is also based on the weight of the paper used or the purpose of the academic work.
You can fit more sheets of 27 lb paper in coil binding than you can 32 lb. Double-sided printing is recommended for binding more than 300 pages with coil binding. In this manner, a maximum of 600 printed pages or 300 pages can be accommodated within our coil binding.
