However, the logo of my university did not get printed right, even though on the preview from the website it looked completely okay. Edit: the custommer service contacted me and accordingly they are currently working on this issue, so the printing of these intrincated uni logos should be fine in the near future

De prijs kan een belangrijke factor zijn bij het printen en inbinden van boeken. Het hangt er natuurlijk vanaf hoe je je boek wilt printen en inbinden, bijvoorbeeld welke binding je kiest of hoeveel pagina’s je wilt afdrukken.

De duur van het inbinden hangt meestal af van de gewenste binding en het aantal exemplaren. Als je in eerste instantie maar één boek met een hardcover binding wilt laten inbinden, duurt het ongeveer 1 tot 2 uur. Lokale copyshops doen er echter meestal langer over totdat je je bestelling kunt ophalen.

Welke binding je gebruikt voor je boek hangt helemaal af van de kwaliteit van je boek. Het hangt er ook vanaf hoeveel exemplaren je wilt laten printen. Voor één speciaal exemplaar raden we een van de hoogwaardige hardcover bindingen aan. Als je echter meerdere exemplaren van je boek nodig hebt, zijn er iets goedkopere bindingen, zoals lijmbinding.
Voor scripties wordt vaak papier van 80 g/m² of 100 g/m² gebruikt. Bij BachelorPrint hebben we papier van 100 g/m² vanaf het begin tot onze standaard gemaakt, omdat het niet alleen steviger is, maar ook beter aanvoelt bij het doorbladeren. Omdat boeken meestal dubbelzijdig worden geprint, raden we zelfs 120 g/m² papier aan om ervoor te zorgen dat de tekst niet doorschijnt.
