La encuadernación en espiral es una de las encuadernaciones simples y prácticas. Consiste en una lámina frontal transparente que proporciona una visión óptima de tu portada y una contracubierta de cartón de color con aspecto de piel con estructura, disponible en varios colores. La espiral en el lomo del libro, ya sea de metal o plástico, es la característica distintiva de la encuadernación y mantiene unidos los folios sueltos. Dependiendo del número de páginas, ofrecemos la encuadernación en espiral en siete diferentes grosores.
Papel
Puesto que el «corazón» de tu trabajo está en el papel, miramos este aspecto con lupa: si el interlineado de las páginas encaja, si las ilustraciones y gráficas son nítidas, si los saltos de línea están bien hechos y si nuestras avanzadas impresoras han hecho un buen trabajo. Con el papel de 100 g/m² caben más páginas en la espiral que con el de 120 g/m². Para más de 200 hojas recomendamos la impresión a doble cara. Así se pueden meter de 290 a 300 hojas en la espiral.

La encuadernación en espiral es especialmente adecuada para pequeños trabajos académicos. Para trabajos grandes e importantes, sin embargo, esta encuadernación se utiliza raramente, por su aspecto muy sencillo y su falta de resistencia. Caben más hojas en la espiral con el papel de 100 g/m² que con el de 120 g/m². Si quieres encuadernar más de 200 páginas, te recomendamos que las imprimas a doble cara. Así puedes meter hasta 300 impresiones o 290 hojas en la encuadernación en espiral.
