Binding with
custom embossing
You can customize the embossed hardbound binding by choosing a template, selecting the embossing color, or creating your format.
BachelorPrint 3D-live-configurator
You can customize your hardbound binding by adding details like embossing or accessories, choosing the color, and viewing it in 3D.
Hardbound bindings
By picking the hardbound binding option, you can emboss the title, university logo, type of work, or an individualized design on the cover. BachelorPrint uses a special embossing process in which heat fuses every letter or university logo onto the cover. Below, you can learn more information about hardbound bindings.
Premium hardbound binding is the best kind of printing and binding. Furthermore, you are provided with numerous options for further enhancing your binding. The most pleasing refinement detail is a customized embossing.
The standard hardbound binding has a shinier texture than the premium hardbound binding. Black, silver, or gold can be used for both versions. The standard hardbound binding is a striking feature when paired with coordinating corners and a ribbon.
Add some flair to your hardbound binding with book corners. Not only do they enhance the quality of your binding, but they also protect the corners. With book corners, you can transport your work worry-free and take it off the shelf multiple times without causing any damage.
Ribbon
The ribbon is an extra feature for the hardbound binding that adds a stylish touch and provides protection. It also serves as a bookmark, indicating that your thesis is unique and encouraging others to read it. Additionally, your examiner will appreciate being able to use the ribbon when reviewing your thesis.

To say I’m over the moon with BachelorPrint is an understatement. I spent hours trawling the internet for a printing company that offered corner borders, personalised cover design AND a ribbon - this was only one I could find.

The ordering process was smooth and the “3D Preview” is a game-changer. I ordered a few as gifts and they look incredible. I can’t fault B.P and would recommend them to anyone.

We use 27 lb premium paper for printing and offer the same price for color and black/white printing. Calculate your exact price for printing and binding your thesis here: Print shop.
Based on paper grade and paper weight standards, the thickness of your hardbound binding varies. We recommend using 32 lb paper for double-sided printing, which allows for up to 470 sides. You can upload your thesis to the print shop and use the 3D configurator to visualize the final result.
There are two types of hardbound binding: standard hardbound has a shiny smooth surface, while premium hardbound has a soft, textured faux leather look. Both can be embossed with the title of your dissertationnr or thesis, known as hardbound binding embossing.
Hardbound binding is primarily used for larger and more significant pieces of work. Thanks to the book-like appearance and the high-quality, robust cover, your work will stand out from the rest. We recommend hardbound binding for the following types of academic work:
Leather book binding involves cardboard sheets for the covers and a strip for the spine, covered with premium or standard leather. The pages are glued together with stable end pages, then attached to the leather binding. You can customize your thesis in the online print shop to suit your preferences.
