Corners
You can make your hardcover look more interesting by adding book corners. These enhance the look of your hardcover and also shield the edges. With book corners, you can transport your work without worrying about damage.
Ribbon
The ribbon, as an extra accessory for the hardcover, not only looks great, but also serves as a barrier. Your examiner will appreciate it if they can actually use the ribbon when reviewing your thesis, as it signals that your thesis is special and invites you to read.

Great quality and nice little message upon reception. I recommend! It ships from Germany though which I hadn’t realised at the time. I probably wouldn’t have used them otherwise as I live in Australia.

An absolute gem of a company ! I literally ordered it 2 days ago, and it is already at my home right now (from Germany to France)!
Very well packaged, the quality of the product is impeccable!
A big thanks for the written card (Cheers to Jerry!), it is very considerate and nice!
I urge any of you who wants to print his/her thesis or any « big » papers to go through them, you’ll not be disappointed !

Printed both my bachelor and master thesis. Both were amazing in itself. The super deal with hardcover is good choice in it self if you want to save some money and still have some kind of quality. The delivery time is top notch (two to three work days). The premium hardcover lets you choose different colors and also add few other gimmicks, that are not necessary but they do look good and the quality is (in my opinion) amazing. If I have anything else to print, I will do it here. Thanks for thePrinted both my bachelor and master thesis. Both were amazing in itself. FAQs
Hardcover is primarily used for larger, more significant pieces of work. Due to the book-like appearance and the high-quality and robust cover, your work will stand out from the rest. You can make your book look like leather by using our online print shop.
Our prices tend to be 45% lower in comparison to other market prices. Furthermore, at BachelorPrint, you do not have to pay delivery fees for your order. We also use 27 lb premium paper as the standard for printing at BachelorPrint, and we charge the same amount for both color and black/white printing.
You can find out how much printing and binding costs for your thesis by visiting our website: Print shop.
You can print up to 470 sides on the 32 lb paper and 500 sides on the 27 lb paper. For this reason, we recommend 32 lb paper for double-sided printing. You can print up to:
- 470 sides with the 32 lb paper
- 500 sides with the 27 lb paper
Please visit our print shop to see which page amount is possible. Simply upload your thesis, and use the 3D configurator to see what it will look like when printed.
There are two different types of hardcovers:
- Standard hardcover (shiny and smooth surface)
- Premium hardcover (soft and textured faux leather look)
The title of your dissertation or thesis can be engraved on either of these bindings. This process is commonly referred to as hardcover embossing.
Hardcovers are primarily needed for larger and more significant works. Your work will stand out from the rest thanks to the book-like appearance and high quality, robust cover. We recommend hardcover for the following types of academic work:
- Thesis
- Ph.D.
- Dissertation
Here’s a brief step-by-step guide:
- The hardcover is made up of two cardboard sheets, one for the front and back covers and one for the spine.
- The leather-like elements make up the covers of the cardboard elements.
- Then, the pages are glued together and two stable end pages are added.
You are free to configure your thesis in the online print shop to fit your personal preferences.
