Hardback bindings
When you choose the hardback binding option, you can emboss the title, university logo, type of work, or a custom design on the cover. BachelorPrint utilizes a special embossing process in which each individual letter or the university logo is fused onto the cover using heat. You can find more information about hardback bindings below.
The highest quality type of printing and binding is premium hardback binding. Furthermore, you are provided with numerous options for further enhancing your binding. A personalized embossing is the most pleasing finishing touch.
Standard hardback binding has a shinier surface than premium hardback binding. Both versions can be embossed in black, silver, or gold. The standard hardback binding has a striking look when paired with coordinating corners and a ribbon.
Spice up the look of your hardback binding by adding silver or golden book corners! They provide support and make your hardback binding look even more chic and high-quality. Never be concerned about damaging your bound work when transporting it, or pulling it from a shelf to show off to others, or just taking a look at it for yourself.
Ribbon
The ribbon, as an additional feature for hardback binding, looks stylish and provides protection. A reading ribbon indicates that your thesis is special and encourages readers to engage with it. Additionally, your examiner will appreciate being able to use the ribbon while reviewing your thesis.

To say I’m over the moon with BachelorPrint is an understatement. I spent hours trawling the internet for a printing company that offered corner borders, personalised cover design AND a ribbon - this was only one I could find.

Standard hardback binding: shiny and smooth surface
Premium hardback binding: soft and textured faux leather look
Both of these bindings are capable of being embossed with the title of your dissertation, thesis, or Ph.D. This process is commonly known as hardback binding embossing.
Hardback binding is primarily used for larger and more significant pieces of work. Thanks to its book-like appearance and high-quality, robust cover, your work will stand out from the rest. We recommend hardback binding for the following types of academic work:
The hardback binding is made up of two cardboard sheets and a spine that are then covered with faux leather. Afterward, the pages are glued together and attached to the binding. Note that the material differs between premium and standard hardback binding!
